Artificial additive

Artificial additives in dog food are substances that are added to the food to improve certain properties such as taste, color, shelf life or nutritional content. These additives are not naturally present in the original food, but are added during the manufacturing process. Some examples of artificial additives are colorants, preservatives, flavorings and vitamins that are synthetically produced.

It is important to note that not all artificial additives are bad for your dog. Some are necessary to make the food nutritious and long-lasting. However, there are concerns about the long-term effects of some artificial additives on dogs' health.
