  • 2 pears, as firm as possible
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 1 egg
  • Please leave out the cinnamon, which should be added!

The preparation is very simple:

  1. Peel the pears and cut them into small cubes. Mix them with the honey or agave syrup in a bowl.
  2. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal rectangles and brush half of them with beaten egg.
  3. Spread the pear filling over the coated pastry rectangles and fold the other half of the pastry over them. Press the edges together with your fingers and then with a fork.
  4. Brush the surface of the pear pockets once more with egg and make several cuts in them with a knife.
  5. Bake the pear pockets in a preheated oven at 180°C fan oven for approx. 25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Leave the pear pockets to cool slightly before giving them to your dog.
