Soup

In dog nutrition, the term "soup" means that the food has a liquid consistency, similar to the soup we humans eat. Such food usually contains a high amount of water or broth and may contain various ingredients such as meat, vegetables and grains.

This form of food is particularly useful to keep your dog hydrated, especially if they tend not to drink enough water. Soup-type dog food can also be easier to digest and is often a good choice for older dogs or dogs with dental problems that have difficulty chewing solid food.
