Disadvantages of collard greens for dogs

  • It can cause flatulence and diarrhea in sensitive dogs.
  • It can inhibit the absorption of iodine, which can lead to thyroid problems.

Collard greens should therefore only be fed in small quantities and well cooked. You should also make sure that your dog is not allergic or intolerant to cabbage.
